Lingaa going steady in the second week

Rajinikanth-KS Ravikumar's superhit Padayappa combo is back with Lingaa that release on Thalaivar Birthday, on December 12th and going strong in the second week. Rockline Venkatesh produced Lingaa is opened to mixed reviews due to its script, yet managed to get packed theaters, especially for Rajinikanth and the ensemble team on the table.

Anushka, Sonakshi Sinha, Santhanam and Karunakaran played prominent roles in Lingaa with AR Rahman's music and Rathnavelu's camera works.

The movie that was released in 5000 theaters worldwide in Tamil and Telugu languages had to share them with new releases such as Aamir Khan's PK, Malayalam movie Cousins and others in the second week.

Yet, Rajinikanth starred Lingaa managed to keep up to 300+ International screens including Malaysia-93, USA Canada-85, UK Europe-40, MiddleEast-40, Sri Lanka-25 and Singapore Australia-20
