Diesel mafia don Mohammed Ali, arrested by the crime branch on December
6 for smuggling red sanders, was recently re-arrested in an older case.
The Control Bureau of the crime branch had seized four containers of furnace oil from the sea off Yellow Gate in 2010 and interrogation revealed it was Ali's consignment.
"The chargesheet was filed but Ali was shown as a wanted accused ... we have just taken his custody from unit 3," inspector of CB control room Dinesh Ahire said.
