Former Telugu actress and animal welfare activist Amala Akkineni is all
set make a comeback on silverscreen Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan-starrer Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
Mahesh Bhatt, took to the micro-blogging site to announce that Amala Akkineni, will be a part of his movie directed by Mohit Suri.

Amala Akkineni is best remembered as Kamal Haasan's love interest in silent comedy PushpakThe actress will also also sing and enact the title song of Hamari Adhuri Kahani, set for release in June 2015.
Amala is a popular actress of 1990s of the South who has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films and she has won 2 Filmfare Awards. She was is best remembered as Kamal Haasan's love interest in silent comedy Pushpak and as the female lead in Ram Gopal Verma's Shiva starring husband Nagarjuna. Amala also featured in late Feroz Khan's Dayavan.
She was last seen in a cameo appearance in Listen Amaya in 2013.
