Bear mauls forest guard to death

The incident which is reported to have taken place on December 21 near Premanagar village of Chhattisgarh's Surajpur district was captured on a mobile phone.
The same female bear is said to have killed a local villager on December 20. The bear had reportedly killed four persons in as many days. Soon after the locals death was reported, the forest department swung into action to track down the animal.
However, the bear managed to maul one of the forest guards before a joint team of officials from the forest department and the local police tracked it and hunted it down.
This is the second incident of a human being mauled to death by an animal. The first incident was reported from the Delhi zoo where a White tiger had mauled a student to death after he had falled into its enclosure.
