GENEVA:
A bomb threat caused flight delays and the partial shut-down of
Switzerland's main airport in Zurich before security forces gave the
all-clear, reports and officials said.
Around a dozen flights
were delayed late on Monday by up to 30 minutes, police said, as a
result of what they said was an unspecified threat. No flights were
cancelled.
Local media said the security alert had been caused by an anonymous caller making a bomb threat.
"Everything is back in order and flights will resume as normal on Tuesday," said Carmen Surber, spokeswoman for the local police.
