The
real hero of Byomkesh Phire Elo, Anjan Dutt, might have been in faraway
Darjeeling, but his film was received with a thunderous applause by
movie lovers at Nandan on Friday.
The film, produced by RP
Techvision Pvt Ltd, was presented by Abir Chatterjee. "Byomkesh is
close to everyone's heart as suspense fascinates like no other. This is
our third Byomkesh of the series and we all tried to give our
best; I guess that got translated on screen. A director has every right
to take creative liberty but the essence of Beni Sanghar remains
intact," said Abir.
Prosenjit Chatterjee, who dropped in to wish the team, said he would be catching it just ahead of Christmas. "I always stress on the fact that literature has its own strength and films made on them have huge potential. I have seen the last two Byomkesh films and loved them," he said. Neel Dutt, who was present at the screening, was seen interacting with one and all. Post-screening, the unit moved to a hotel where a bash was organized. Work hard, party harder, all agreed in unison.
